Since 1987, Mr. Stewart has specialized in corporate and commercial litigation. He has been involved in a variety of litigation matters at both the trial and appellate level, including the defense of product liability cases; complex litigation on behalf of financial institutions, as well as workouts, collection matters and foreclosures; partnership disputes; trademark infringement actions; commercial and residential landlord/tenant actions; multi-party, multi-site insurance coverage cases; and court-ordered mediation and alternative dispute resolution proceedings.
A 1985 honors graduate of Boston University School of Law, Mr. Stewart is admitted to the Bar of the State of New York and the United States District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York, and is a member of the Association of the Bar of the City of New York. He has co-authored a number of articles on declaratory judgment actions and electro-magnetic field insurance coverage litigation. Mr. Stewart is also a mediator with the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York.
